 2024 Trainings & Evcnts

We provide our trainings to Tribes, communities and organizations throughout Alaska for groups, in regional hub locations, with individual entities, and one-on-one settings. 

  • QuickBooks Training for Alaska Tribes.  Our QuickBooks Training for Alaska Tribes stands out through our deep-rooted statewide understanding of Alaska Tribal Accounting practices. Our team's extensive experience and specialized knowledge uniquely position us to guide and empower you in navigating the intricacies of your accounting requirements.   • Audit Preparation.  Learn simple, cost-effective best practices for a timely audit. Held November 2023.

  • Critical Stress Management for Tribal Administrators.  Understand definitions of stress related challenges in the workplace, learn tools for success, demonstrate and practice exercises for long-term retention. This is a free Zoom session through the Alaska Tribal Administrators Association. April 2024.​​

  • Fraud Prevention.  Designed for Tribal Councils and Administrators to support accountability and best practices for a financially healthy Tribe. Includes Human Resources and policies best practices. TBA.​

  • Human Resource Practices for Tribes.  Learn comprehensive tools for effective human resources specific to Alaska Tribes. TBA.

  • Strategic Planning for Tribal Administrators. Prioritize and set realistic and tribal goals as we show you a proven simple system for meeting them. April 2024 and per Tribe or region request.

  • Tribal Councils Roles and Fiduciary Trust Responsibility.  A collaborative effort with the Board of Directors of the Alaska Tribal Administrators Association. Tribal Council members will become familiar with required reporting, reviewing financial reports and what to ask from your administration and program directors to maintain financial compliance. Participants will discuss their role in supporting effective tribal administration. April 2024 and per Tribe or region request.
